| About
the College |
 |
| The
College of Natural Therapy was founded in 1979 to provide
tuition
in Natural Therapeutics for those who cannot attend full-time
training, and enjoys an excellent reputation for its high
standard
of education, which is reflected in the content and quality
of the courses. |
 |
| The
founder of the College, Norman Eddie, had been a
practitioner
for many years and lectured in various parts of the world
on Nutrition, Soft Tissue Manipulation, Applied Kinesiology,
Homoeopathy and Herbal Medicine. He also lectured in
hospitals
in this Country on his natural approach to cancer treatment.
He had practical experience in all that he teaches in the
course.
In other words, it is not only book knowledge - it is the
knowledge
used in his own Clinic, which has been established and well
known for many years. He attended courses such as the
Metabolic
Course in Dallas, Nutrition and Applied Kinesiology Courses
in America; and Homoeopathy Courses in this country and
abroad.

 |
| Schools,
Colleges and Universities all over the world are becoming
aware
that today's adult student has little time to spare, and
probably
has marital, social and business commitments, so actually
attending
a College becomes a very expensive undertaking. It is because
of this that study by extension course is becoming the vogue
rather than the exception. |
 |
| The
College is designed to serve students of all ages, including
the mature student who in all probability will never re-enter
the education mainstream of on-campus classes. Many
individuals
reaching this stage in life have not been able to pursue
their
intended vocations during their formative years. Off-campus
ed ucation such as is offered by the College makes it
possible
for such individuals to receive a credential in their chosen
field, with the minimum of inconvenience. |
